Georgia Bicentennial Plaque

 

Bronze Plaque Marking Georgia's Bicentennial

This plaque was placed in Georgia's State Capitol in 1933 to mark the 200th anniversary of the founding of Georgia by James Edward Oglethorpe. The memorial marker can be seen on the north wall of the hallway at the main entrance to the Capitol.
