Georgia's "Three Governors Affair"

One of the most famous events in Georgia history occurred in late 1947 and early 1948 when three different politicians -- Ellis Arnall, M.E. Thompson, and Herman Talmadge -- claimed to be Georgia governor. Listed below are several web sites that examine the controversy.
