Roosevelt's Little White House Gets Its Name

In this note from Arthur Carpenter to Dr. Michael Hoke, he discusses the financing of the new cottage being built for Roosevelt. Mundane material, until one reads the addendum to Fred Botts at the bottom.

Note the date of the note - May 30, 1932 - this is over five months BEFORE the election! Apparently they were confident of a Roosevelt victory!
