Broad River

The Broad River originates when the Hudson River and Middle Fork converge on the Franklin/Madison County border. The Broad River then flows southeastward some 99 miles, emptying into the Savannah River at Clarks Hill Lake. The Savannah River flows southward, forming the boundary between Georgia and South Carolina, before emptying into the Atlantic Ocean near the city of Savannah.
