Georgia Capitol Cornerstone

Marble cornerstone of Georgia's state capitol. Georgia's coat of arms and the year 1779 are from of Georgia's official state seal adopted in 1799 (though in 1914 the legislature changed the year to 1776). Text on the cornerstone reads:
