Former Athens City Hall

Former Athens City Hall

This building, located at the corner of Washington St. and College Ave., was built in 1903-04 and served as the Athens City Hall until 1991, when Athens and Clarke County consolidated into a single entity known as the Unified Government of Athens-Clarke County. Since then, the mayor and some of the other agencies of the unified government have used the old city hall for their offices.
