Butts County Courthouse -- Early 1900s

 

This postcard, printed in Germany, bears an Aug. 20, 1910 postmark from Jackson, Ga. The courthouse was completed in 1898. However, because the address side of the postcard has a space for personal messages (which was prohibited by federal law until March 1907), the photo probably dates to 1907-09.
