Chatham County Courthouse -- Early 1900s

 

This postcard has no postmark or other identifying markings to date the card or photo. The Chatham County courthouse was built in 1889. However, the address side of this postcard has a space for a personal message (something prohibited by federal law until March 1907), which suggests the photo was taken some time after this date.
