Dougherty County Courthouse Postcard
Dougherty County Courthouse -- Early 1900s

This postcard, printed in Germany and published by the Owl Drug & Seed Co. in Albany, Ga., shows a black-and-white photo that has tinted light green. The postcard contains no postmark or other means of identifying the date of its printing and use. However, the address side of the card has a space for a personal message, which federal law only allowed after March 1907. The courthouse was completed in 1904, and the above photo appears to have been taken shortly afterwards.
