![]() This building, originally constructed in 1936 as a U.S. post office, later served as a U.S. courthouse. It was purchased in the late 1990s by Emanuel County commissioners to serve as the temporary county courthouse until a new courthouse could be built. The new county courthouse incorporated the old post office building as part of the new county government building. © Carl Vinson Institute of Government, University of Georgia Go to Emanuel County Courthouse page
