Old Laurens County Courthouse
Laurens County Courthouse
-- Early 1900s
- This postcard was never mailed, so there is no postmark to
help date it. However, the address side has a specific area for
messages, which federal law prohibited on the address side prior
to March 1907. The photo probably was taken sometime during the
first decade of the 1900s.
-
- Four "X's" appear along the lower left off the
photo side of the postcard, along with a handwritten message
that says:
-
- "My shop is just about where the X mark is on the opposite
side of the street."
