Marion County Courthouse -- Early 1900s

 

This postcard has an indistinguishable postmark, with nothing else to help date the card or photo. This courthouse was built in 1850. There is a space for a personal message on the address side of the postcard, something prohibited by federal law until March 1907. Presumably, the photo was taken in the early 1900s.
