Old Richmond County Courthouse Postcard

Old Richmond County Courthouse -- Early 1900s

The central portion of this courthouse was built in 1820, and the wings were added in 1870. The postcard shown above has no postmark or other identification marking the date of the card or photo. It does not have a space for personal messages on the address side (something that was not legal in the U.S. until March 1907), which would mean that the photo probably dates to 1906 or earlier.
