Note

The Department of Community Health officially came into existence on July 1, 1999. It consists principally of the current Georgia Department of Medical Assistance, plus the State Health Planning Agency and certain functions of the State Merit System. A direct link from the organization chart to DCH will be added as soon as its new web site is created.
