Georgia
has been blessed with an abundant amount of musical talent, both in number
or artists and in the diversity of their work. This page seeks to document
both official and unofficial web sites dedicated to these artists. Naturally
it will grow as new musicians gain recognition and as more information
becomes available on the web. In time, we also hope to include names of
Georgia artists for whom web sites do not yet exist.
What qualifies a musician
for inclusion on our list? Essentially, if the artist was born in Georgia,
lived a significant time here, or otherwise made a significant contribution
to music in Georgia Eventually, we also hope to include information on
producers and other non-performers associated with Georgia's musical heritage.
