Telfair County, 1830

 

 

Note: This map incorrectly shows the Ocmulgee River as the southern boundary of Telfair County. That was correct when the county was created in 1807. However, in 1819 and 1825, the legislature transferred land districts 1 and 6 in Appling County to Telfair County. This gave Telfair a considerable area of land south of the Ocmulgee.
