Olympic Centennial Stamp First Day Cover With Cachet
Shown above is an example of a first day cover (FDC) for the Olympic Centennial stamp with the official first day of issue cancellation. Additionally, this example used the three previous U.S. stamps to feature the Discobolus statue, as well as the 1933 James Oglethorpe stamp issued to celebrate Georgia's bicentennial. On the left of the cover is a cachet related to the theme of the stamp.
