Logan Bleckley

 

Logan Bleckley was born in Rabun County, Georgia in 1827. He grew up to become a noted jurist, serving nineteen years on the Georgia Supreme Court, becoming chief justicefor the final seven years. He was also respected for his interest in philosophy, poetry, and mathematics. He died in 1907; Bleckley County was created and named in his honor in 1912.
