Lucy Cobb Institute

Lucy Cobb Institute, built in Athens, Ga. in 1859 by Athens lawyer T.R.R. Cobb. The school for girls, named for his late daughter, was restored in the late1980s and since then has served as the home of the Carl Vinson Institute of Government.
