Lyman Hall

1724-1790

Career: one of Georgia's three signers of the Declaration of Independence, while serving as delegate to the 1776 Continental Congress; also served in the Georgia colonial assemby before the Revolution, and as a state representative and governor after the Revolution. Hall County created and named in his honor in 1818.
