Soque River
The Soque River orginates in Habersham County, and stays within Habersham for the duration of its approximately 30 mile course. It flows southward to empty into the Chattahoochee River. The Chattahoochee River then flows through Atlanta and westward to the Alabama border. It then flows southward, forming the Georgia/Alabama border until it and the Flint River both empty into Lake Seminole in Florida. From the southern end of Lake Seminole, the Apalachicola River flows southward into the Gulf of Mexico.
