Hank Aaron Bust
This bronze bust of Hank Aaron, located outside the northern entrance to Turner Field in Atlanta, includes a plaque on a marble base that bears this inscription: PRESENTED TO THE CITY OF ATLANTA IN COMMEMORATION OF THE OUTSTANDING CONTRIBUTIONS OF HENRY LOUIS AARON TO THE GAME OF BASEBALL AND TO THIS CITY THE CITIZENS AND SOUTHERN NATIONAL BANK THE GEORGIA MARBLE COMPANY Photo: Ed Jackson © Carl Vinson Institute of Government, University of Georgia
