"Miss Freedom" Statue

"Miss Freedom" Statue

Statue representing freedom and liberty atop Georgia's state capitol. Although much about the statued is mystery, it is most commonly identified as "Miss Freedom," though a newspaper account from the time of the capitol's construction referred to the statue as the "Goddess of Liberty."
