Thomas Glascock

1790-1841

Career: delegate to 1798 Constitutional Convention; fought in the War of 1812 and Seminole War; served in the Georgia House of Representatives (as Speaker for two years) and the U.S. House of Representatives. Glascock County created and named in his honor in 1857.
