Tugaloo River
The Tugaloo River originates from Tugaloo Lake at the Rabun/Habersham County border, where the Chattooga River and Tallulah River converge into the lake. From Tugaloo Lake, the Tugaloo River flows southeastward for 45 miles, forming the Georgia/South Carolina border. It empties into Lake Hartwell, where its confluence with the Seneca River from South Carolina forms the Savannah River. The Savannah River then flows southward, continuing to form the border between Georgia and South Carolina, before emptying into the Atlantic Ocean near the city of Savannah.
