Rules for Competitive Exhibits
1. The exhibit will be judged on the level of a national show. Five levels of awards will be given: gold,vermeil, silver, silver-bronze, and bronze. The show will be judged on an open show basis: an unlimited number of each level of award will be available to the judges.
2. Exhibits will be classed in the following categories. This is for the convenience of the viewer only, and it will not affect awards (except for special awards).
A. United States stamps
B. Foreign stamps, including the United Nations
C. Postal History, worldwide
D. Thematic and topical exhibits
E. Youth exhibits (age 18 and under) and Transitional exhibits (age 19 through 21)
3. All exhibits must be the personal property of the exhibitor.
4. An exhibitor may enter a second exhibit, but a separate entry form must be submitted. Photocopies of title page and/or plan page should be sent with the entry form. Please send 8 copies, to be made available to the judges in advance of the show. Although exhibits will not be rejected because such copies are lacking, we strongly recommend they be included with the prospectus or sent separately, before the close of entries.
5. Exhibit frames will hold 16 (sixteen) 8.5" x 11" pages, in 4 horizontal rows of 4 pages each. A maximum of 10 frames will be allotted per exhibit. One-frame exhibits are welcome.
6. The entry fee is $7 per frame for adults, and $2 per frame for juniors. Entry fees must accompany entry form. Make checks payable to Peach State Stamp Show '97.
7. No refund of entry fees shall be made after October 11, 1996, for any reason.
8. The exhibits will be judged by a panel of at least five APS -accredited judges. The decisions of the judges will be final.
9. Deadline for receipt of completed entry forms will be September 15, 1997. Entries may close earlier due to frame limitations. [Deadline may be waived.]
10. Exhibits sent by mail should be sent insured, registered, or Express Mail and should be sent to arrive between October 6 and 11, 1997. Exhibits to be mounted by the exhibitor must be delivered to the Classic Center between the hours of 9 am and 12 noon, October 17, 1996.
11. For exhibits to be returned by mail, adequate return fees must be included with the entry form. Registration, Express Mail, or insured mail requiring a receipt is required. Exhibits to be picked up in person will be released after 4 pm on October 19.

13. Due precautions will be taken to safeguard exhibits. Insurance is the responsibility of the exhibitor. No liability shall be borne by the Georgia Federation of Stamp Clubs, Peach State Stamp Show, or the Classic Center.
14. Transparent page protectors are recommended.
