Dr. Foster's primary interests are industrial/organizational psychology and human resource management. He provides technical assistance primarily to state and local public safety agencies regarding employment testing issues. Technical assistance includes job analysis, employee selection and promotion policy development, job knowledge test development, and assessment center design and administration. He has worked with numerous agencies including the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, the Georgia State Patrol, the cities of Savannah and Columbus, the Henry County Police Department, the unified government of Athens-Clarke County, and agencies outside the state of Georgia.
