
Dr. Wang provides leadership of the China Governance and Development Program in the International Center. He focuses primarily on planning and carrying out training and education programs for Chinese, conducted both in China and the U.S.; developing new partnerships and training programs in China; assisting to expand opportunities for UGA faculty members to conduct China-related research.
Dr. Wang has expertise in comparative analysis of public administrative systems between different countries. He also conducts researches on state-society relations and the public budgeting process in China.
Dr. Wang also plays active roles in coordinating and assisting UGA China-related activities. He served as the co-leader of the University’s first China Study Abroad Program in 2006. He is currently the liaison to help the Office of International Education to set up a residential campus in China for UGA students to conduct long-term study there.
