Georgia’s Division of Family and Children Services will convene a Rate Reimbursement Task Force to examine and make recommendations for reimbursement rates to adequately compensate providers for caring for foster children (excluding base foster care rates). Task force members will include national experts in health policy, child welfare, and adolescent behavioral and mental health. Faculty and staff from the University of Georgia’s Carl Vinson Institute of Government will serve as staff to the task force and assist with convening the meetings, gathering research, and writing and distributing the final report.
The task force meetings, unless otherwise posted, will take place in the DHR Boardroom at 2 Peachtree St. in Atlanta on the following dates at the following times:
June 18, 2009: 9:00 a.m. – 2 p.m.
September 18, 2009: 10:00 a.m. – 3 p.m.
October 16, 2009: 10:00 a.m. – 3 p.m.
November 20, 2009: 10:00 a.m. – 3 p.m.
