County Commissioners Training Program

The Institute, in partnership with the Association County Commissioners of Georgia, offers training programs for county commissioners to develop and enhance the governingskills of elected officials. Each of the courses in this program is offered at least once every other year. The training programs are held either in conjunction with regularly scheduled ACCG meetings or as stand-alone sessions. In order to receive credit a person must attend the entire course. A certificate of recognition will be awarded to those county commissioners and county officials who complete the five required courses and three elective courses, a total of 48 hours of instruction.
