Sean Brandon joined the Vinson Institute’s International Center as adjunct faculty in 2009. Mr. Brandon has traveled to Indonesia and China at the invitation of USAID, the International City/County Management Association, and the University of Georgia in order to help train local government professionals in other jurisdictions.

He serves as the director of Mobility Services in Savannah, Georgia, where he oversees the city’s parking system, downtown transportation system, taxi and bus regulation, and tour regulation. Prior to assuming this position, he spent two years as assistant to the city manager with day-to-day responsibilities over citywide projects that included transportation issues and four years as the city’s management service coordinator over internal service projects.

Originally from Brooklyn, New York, Mr. Brandon has a Master in Public Administration and City Management degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a B.S. degree in finance from Hampton University. As a graduate student, he worked with the cities of Chapel Hill and Rocky Mount in North Carolina on a variety of financial and planning issues.
