For more than 80 years, the Vinson Institute has worked with public officials throughout Georgia and around the world to improve governance and people's lives. From Georgia's early days as a largely agrarian state with a modest population to its modern-day status as a national and international force in business, industry, and politics with a population of almost 10 million, the Institute has helped government leaders navigate change and forge strong directions for a better Georgia.

Dan Evans

Mr. Evans is responsible for the day-to-day coordination of facilities operations. His specific duties at the Institute include building access, telephone services and he is the contact agent for the historic Seney-Stovall Chapel. Mr. Evans came to the Institute after a 30 year career in the photographic industry. He has owned and operated several photographic related businesses serving the professional and governmental communities of Athens. Mr. Evans also serves on staff at a local church as administrator.
