Timothy Sigler

Fiscal Analyst
Governmental Services and Research

T. J. Sigler is a fiscal analyst with the Institute’s governmental services and research division, where he assists the Georgia General Assembly, Governor’s Office of Planning & Budget, and Georgia Department of Audits in estimating the impact of proposed legislation on state revenues and expenditures. Prior to joining the Institute, he worked as a policy analyst for DeKalb County, Georgia, providing research and analysis to local elected officials on a wide range of policy, management, and fiscal issues. His duties included coordinating the county commission’s legislative agenda, reviewing the county's contracting and fleet management operations, and analyzing departmental budgets and expenditures.

Areas of expertise: public policy research and analysis, local government operations, government budgeting and finance, and tax revenue policy
