For more than 80 years, the Vinson Institute has worked with public officials throughout Georgia and around the world to improve governance and people's lives. From Georgia's early days as a largely agrarian state with a modest population to its modern-day status as a national and international force in business, industry, and politics with a population of almost 10 million, the Institute has helped government leaders navigate change and forge strong directions for a better Georgia.

Joycelyn Trigg

Joycelyn Trigg leads the Institute’s office of communications, where she directs a variety of comprehensive communications activities designed to convey the Institute’s mission to the public. Her duties include overseeing an active media and public relations program and conceptualizing and implementing marketing strategies for the Institute’s many governmental assistance, professional development, and other outreach programs. She also manages the Institute’s Web presence and other external and internal digital and electronic communications. Ms. Trigg joined the Institute in 2001 after serving more than 10 years as publications director in the Public Affairs Department of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, where she developed and managed marketing and educational publications and edited economic research.
