Feature — Planning and Zoning Training

Local officials know, as does the Vinson Institute, that effective planning and zoning is vital to a community’s development and well-being. Regardless of their role in the process, board and commission members, staff, and elected officials will benefit from the Vinson Institute’s customized planning and zoning training.

Participants gain a thorough understanding of fundamental planning and zoning concepts, roles and responsibilities, laws, and the Georgia Planning Act. The training also examines the process of creating policy.
