Coaching and Development/Individual Development Program
Contact: Michael Hourihan, hourihan@cviog.uga.edu; 404.463.6803
The Institute offers an Individual Development Program for those agencies wanting to develop their leaders at all levels. The participant’s development plan is created exclusively for him or her and is targeted toward taking advantage of personal strengths in conjunction with identifying and reacting to professional weaknesses, challenges, and performance opportunities.

This program includes a 360-degree feedback survey and two-and-a-half hours of time with a certified coach. The program is divided into two sessions.

  • The first one-hour, coach-led session includes feedback from the 360-degree survey and the development of a detailed, customized Individual Development Plan (IDP) with measurable developmental objectives.
  • Three months later, an additional 90-minute session will be held. This session includes a discussion with the same career development coach on progress made towards achieving personal development goals of the IDP.

Extra coaching hours and a Hogan Assessment instrument are also available upon request for additional cost.

Download a detailed description of the Coaching and Development/Individual Development Program for more information and cost breakdown.

Registration: This program is only available by request and recommendation from the participant’s agency. Contact your agency human resources or training manager for more information. The Georgia Leadership Institute contact is Michael Hourihan; however, requests for this service should come through the agency.
