Agencies can take advantage of reduced pricing for most leadership and management courses, thanks to a new scholarship program for state employees. Participant fees will be reduced as much as 50 percent under the new scholarship program.

"Strong leadership is critical to state government, especially in difficult times," according to Georgia's Chief Operating Officer Jim Lientz. "We realize agencies are facing considerable financial pressures and want to do what we can to help them continue developing their leaders."

Course listings and fees will show the amount of scholarship available for each program, as well as the actual participant fee that agencies will pay.
