The Vinson Institute's Applied Demography Program helps today's proactive government leaders peek around the corner by combining local trends with forecasts for national, state, and regional population changes and migration.

Armed with data and projections provided by the Institute's expert demographers, governments can make informed, preemptive decisions about issues such as resource management, education, housing, and service delivery so that governments do not have to be caught flatfooted in the face of population changes.
