In 2006, the International Center organized a local government training exchange for mayors from Albania. A group of 12 mayors met with counterparts in local government, representatives of the Georgia Municipal Association, and the Association County Commissioners of Georgia. The trip was sponsored by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), with World Learning as the programming agent.
