In 2006, the International Center hosted a delegation of graduates from the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Graduates toured Georgia to meet with practitioners and to see public management in practice in a U.S. setting. The agenda included a mix of lectures, discussions, and site visits in Athens, Milledgeville, Savannah, and Atlanta, Georgia, and covered such topics as public management, economic development, and human services delivery.
