Assistance Abroad
Whether it is developing rural economic development plans in Croatia or training research staff from federal ministries in Liberia, we are poised to assist national and local government agencies as they respond to the development and governance challenges that stand before them. We also partner with donor agencies to help executive, legislative, and judicial branches in developing countries. The International Center draws upon faculty within the Carl Vinson Institute of Government and the University of Georgia, as well as on leading practitioners, to provide assistance programs. We work directly with federal officials and partner training institutions abroad. Global Georgia The International Center is working to help state and local officials in Georgia understand how global economic and political forces are affecting their communities. International Center faculty are available for lectures on a wide range of topics ranging from globalizations impact to political developments in key countries such as China.
