The International Center recognizes that one of the best ways to promote good governance internationally is to build indigenous training ability. In contrast to other international governance outreach that often centers on foreign consultants providing short-term training for an existing pool of officials, the International Center trains the trainers of public officials to help ensure long-term benefits.
