Directions from Atlanta to ITOS in Athens
From Atlanta, take I-85 north to exit 106, highway 316 east (toward Lawrenceville). Follow 316 east for 40 miles to Athens. Hwy 316 will become Epps Bridge Parkway. After approximately 3 miles, Epps Bridge Pkwy will feed into Atlanta Highway (US-78 BUS E). Continue east on Atlanta Highway; it will become Broad Street as you approach downtown Athens (about 3.5 miles). Once in the downtown area, get in the left lane (but not the left turn lane). Go straight through the five-point intersection at Thomas Street and continue down the hill on E. Broad St. Immediately after crossing the river, turn right at the stoplight to stay on E. Broad St.The Chicopee Complex, a low-rise brick building, is on your left; the parking lot is on your right. To find the ITOS main office, enter the the door next to the historical marker. Go up the stairs and turn right. Pass through two doors, and the office will be on the right. If you have any problems, call 706.542.5308. [Map]
