Legislators Prepare to Address State Challenges at 27th Biennial Institute. Newly elected and experienced lawmakers had the opportunity to learn, network, and explore tough state issues during the 27th Biennial Institute for Georgia Legislators.

Local Government Financial Reporting Per HB 122 Slated for February. Local governments with operating budgets exceeding $1 million will begin submitting their budget documents to the Vinson Institute in February for online posting as part of a legislative call for more public access to governmental financial information.

Technical Colleges Transform Ideas into Action with Strategic Planning. Georgia's technical college leaders now have a "top 12" list of ideas relevant to their institutions' future success through an extensive strategic planning initiative facilitated by the Vinson Institute.
