The Vinson Institute has published the latest edition of Local Laws Affecting County Commissioners in Georgia, a compact reference bringing together information concerning the governing authority for all of Georgia's 159 counties. The seventh edition is current through the 2007 session of the Georgia General Assembly and is conveniently organized by county. It provides legal citations for each of the enabling acts that established the county's governing authority, along with summaries of subject matter of selected amendments. Also covered are other acts and local constitutional amendments.
