Public officials in Georgia can turn to the Policy Notes Series for data-driven analysis of complex issues currently facing the state. Started in 1987, the series evolved from the belief that the Vinson Institute, located at the University of Georgia, is uniquely situated to anticipate public problems and conduct objective, systematic research on them, with the goal of contributing to more informed policy choices by decision makers in the state.
