Classroom teachers throughout the state acquire knowledge and resources to better engage their students through annual workshops, special programs, and instructional materials developed by Institute civic education specialists. Many of these programs, which teach students about the importance of being active citizens in a democracy, are carried out in partnership with highly respected national civic education initiatives.
