The Environmental Policy Program provided technical support to Gov. Sonny Perdue's Land Conservation Partnership Advisory Council. A faculty member served as codirector of the project and was the lead author of the Council's report, Georgia Land Conservation Partnership Plan, which was presented to Governor Perdue in August 2004. The resulting 2005 legislation, HB 98, created the Georgia Land Conservation Program.
