How parental involvement can have a positive impact on teenage dating will be one of the topics explored at the March 3 Brown Bag Lecture sponsored by the Child and Family Policy Initiative. Dr. Trisha Reeves of the School of Social Work at the University of Georgia will present her research on the occurrence of aggressive dating patterns among teenagers. The program will be held at 12:00 p.m. in Room 268 of the Student Learning Center.

The Child and Family Policy Initiative, which is coordinated by the Vinson Institute, brings together expertise from across the university campus to inform policy making related to Georgia's families.

The Brown Bag lecture series will conclude on April 18 with an international program. Njeri Marekia-Cleaveland of the Vinson Institute's International Center will host a round-table discussion about current issues facing refugee families in Georgia today. It will be held at 12:20 p.m. in Room 250 of the Student Learning Center.
