Local elected officials, administrators, and staff, as well as boards and authorities, can benefit from quality, customized training and development opportunities offered by the Institute at convenient locations around the state and on the University of Georgia campus.

County Commissioners Training Program

County commissioners can develop and enhance their governing skills with training programs offered by the Institute in partnership with the Association County Commissioners of Georgia (ACCG). A certificate of recognition is awarded to those who complete the five required courses and three electives (48 hours total).
